Los Santos has taken a small break from the usual robbery loop this week, and that's not a bad thing. Rockstar has added three new Odd Jobs, and because they're paying double GTA$ and RP, they're actually worth messing with for a while. If you're jumping in on a fresh character or checking out GTA V Accounts to skip some of the early grind, this is the kind of week where casual work still puts decent money in your pocket.
Odd Jobs feel like a change of paceThe new Firefighter work is probably the one most players will try first. You grab a fire truck, race across the city, put out fires, and pull people out of trouble. There's even the odd cat rescue, which sounds silly, but it fits GTA Online's weird sense of humour. The Forklift Operator job at the Alpha Mail warehouse is much slower, though that's kind of the point. You move pallets, stack shipments, and get paid without dodging missiles every thirty seconds. The Paper Route for the Los Santos Meteor is the easiest one to settle into if you just want to drive, hit stops, and keep things simple. Finish five Odd Jobs and you'll unlock the Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt, though it can take up to 72 hours to appear.
Cocaine Lockups are the smart business playIf you care more about making cash than trying new side work, Cocaine Lockups should be your main focus. Production speed is doubled this week, so stock builds up far quicker than usual. That means you'll want to keep supplies topped off and avoid letting the business sit idle. It's also a good time to buy in if you've been waiting, since Cocaine Lockup properties are 40% off. Players who already own upgrades will feel the benefit most, but even a smaller setup can bring in useful money while you run other jobs around the map.
Races, taxis, and quick bonus moneyThere's more going on outside the businesses too. RC Time Trials, Issi Classic Races, and the Community Race Series are all paying double rewards, which gives racers a few solid reasons to log in. Taxi Work is also on double GTA$, and while it's never been the flashiest way to earn, it's easy to knock out when you don't feel like fighting the whole lobby. Sometimes that's exactly what you need. No setup screen, no crew drama, no one quitting halfway through. Just fares, routes, and a bit of steady cash.
Pizza runs and discounts are worth checkingThe Pizza Delivery challenge is the easiest thing to recommend this week. Complete five deliveries and you'll get a $300,000 bonus plus the Pizza This Tee, and with rewards tripled right now, it's hard to ignore. Don't forget to claim the free Pegassi Pizza Boy bike while it's available. There are also vehicle discounts running until February 4, including deals on the Fire Truck, Zorrusso, and other rides. If you're planning a bigger restart or want to buy GTA V Accounts before diving back into the city, this week gives you plenty of low-pressure ways to build cash fast without spending every session inside another heist lobby.
